Since you watched the Tangi Virus and the Oracle Project, I'd be interested on how you would rate The Children Under the House, another series by Vintage 8 is set in Cate's Crossing but is still a strong standalone story Also there were some of the photos in your analogue horror that I couldn't tell if there was any wierdness or not (ex: the pic with the cornfield), but there were enough less subtle ones (the reflection above the kitchen sink specifically) that didn't leave me completely oblivious.
I'm not fully sure if this is an analog series but I really enjoy TMK (Too Much Kirby) from Maple Riot and its pretty great it's kinda like the Walton Files it mostly consists of animations and art but it's truly amazing it's definitely a series I personally enjoy and recommend. It's still ongoing though, but overall highly likeable for the current things we have with the series.
The reason so many people watch the summary and breakdowns is bc the actual thing is too fucking scary. I can’t watch that stuff the analysis vids gave me nightmares let alone the real thing. I love the series but my stress levels are not capable of this stuff
I just don't understand why would be do that... then again he might have been little twisted in mind but i still wonder what were his self believed motives
bro cooked so good with this video
I know I might be way overthinking here but... Undertale gives the player a choice until the genocide's route's very end, where at that point, the game decides to do a complete 180 and taunt choice only to take it away and show the player what consequences their actions brought to the game's world. In Deltarune's chapter 1 intro, we are taunted once again, like in the genocide ending, with the choice of creating a vessel. Just like before, however, the flame is quickly covered and extinguished. Your choices do not matter. One thing the monsters in the genocide route, and we, the players in the pacifist route of undertale have in common is that both of us try to stop some sadistic, twisted evil beings from taking everything away from everyone and remodeling the world according to their own needs. In the normal ending, we are trying to stop Flowey, this remnant of what once was, Asriel Dreemurr, now devoid of any compassion, only hate and jealousy remaining, desperate for a way to make things go his way. In pacifist the same thing happens, however Asriel is now whole and despite pretending to have no empathy, the player, with enough determination, makes him understand that what he was doing was selfish and wrong In the genocide ending: Sans, Undyne and every monster in the underground tries to stop the player from killing everyone and teaming up with Chara to erase this world *and move onto the next one*. The whole ending and conversation the player has with Chara seems to fit very well into the foundation of Deltarune's choiceless world "Unfortunately regarding this... you made your choice long ago" -Chara Also how oddly convenient that the war between humans and monsters never happened or was won by monsters. Oddly, Kris is the only human in the game. Deltarune so far seems like a dream for 2 odd fellas from Undertale. Another weird thing is how Toby seems to emphasise the words "world", "ending" and "happy" right after saying he's worried about people worrying too much about what Deltarune is. He doesn't outright say "No, Deltarune isn't a sequel" instead he says it's a different world... hmmm... After that he even says "It's just a game you can play after you complete UNDERTALE, if you want to." While this doesn't deny or prove anything, it does tell us that if Deltarune is a sequel, it is a self containable sequel, similar to stuff like the analog horror series Tangi Virus > The Oracle Project > The Human Trials. You can watch Trials without watching the Tangi Virus and it will still make a lot of sense, same for Star Wars trilogies(only referring to prequel and original) Hope this whole theory didn't sound Sans is Ness levels of craziness.
lack of accessibility in some series is precisely why id love to enjoy analog horror but i cant T_T not only can i not understand what they're saying but often the glitchy/flashing effects really hurt my eyes. the result is just a big headache and having to read a recap to understand what even happened. its a real shame because i know id love a lot of these series if i could sit through the episodes. no shade on artistic choices im just venting my wish to be able to enjoy the style more out of love for indie horror and what these creators are doing w the medium <3
Do NOT include Jenna marbles in the same clip show as Logan Paul and Coleen Ballinger 😭
I agree: Angel Gabby CAN get it.
My favorite case of fun dev trolling is Cluster truck I'm glad you brought it up
If your game is so difficult that people think you're actively hacking it to make it unwinnable, then I think theres a problem with your game
I love the criticims and praise you gave, even to projects like urbanspook. its obvious you genuinely care about and enjoy analog horror. YES. ITS NOT JUST A TIER LIST. ITS A FULL REVIEW!! great work man.
I'm sure someone else has commented about it already, but PLEASE check out White Stag Education. It's one of my favorite current analog horror series and each episode offers something new and fresh while still building upon the overarching story. So much passion and care goes into each episode. Hell, they made FOUR PUPPETS for one video (and a banger of a stranger danger song). Very highly recommend. As far as your clip at the end goes, I think it's a great start! The building of ambiance was a very subtle way to raise tension, and the presentation of the images had me scanning even the mundane ones for something. I didn't really see the monster until the picture of your dad at the sink with it in the reflection, but I honestly thought that was a great reveal. And the picture with his face warped towards the end was great!! Not too huge of a transformation, just small enough to be really off-putting. I'm really intrigued by what you've set up, and I hope you continue it!
Honestly, your analog horror was amazing! Also I do agree with where you put these analogs.
NAH-- BUT THE ENDING VIDEO IS SO GOOD TO NOT FOLLOW UP MAN ***PLEASE*** IM ON MY HANDS AND KNEES
The reason why I feel so involved with The Walten Files is that it shows every side of the story. We see Jack, we see Felix, we see the employees, we see Sophie, and we even see the kids. We witness Jack’s unbridled rage, and Felix’s raw and emotional pain.
your narration and delivery is absolutely perfect
hey can you please check out dreams of an insomniac by pastraspec. its really good with great writing and visuals.
Goes Greylock not in B tier at most it being with the painter is a crime bro
Good god, man loves to swear 😂 cant watch this shit at home *at all*
if you ever do a second tier list video, I recommend Harmony and Horror. it's also made by battington and features animatronics but it's very different from the final vhs tape series. it gets pretty disturbing at times but it's a really well made series
"You know the problem with people these days? They're far too sheltered. Playing make believe in a utopia that doesn't exist. *Hiding behind computer screens* or whatever helps distract them from reality. but the truth is, they are an *embarrassment.* Abandoning human nature for a fantasy. They've lost touch with the most essential instinct, survival." I think Adam indirectly called himself out, in his own fucking monologue. Fuck me.
monument mythos being S tier makes me very happy
I think dev trolling should be either opt-in, or made clear before purchase that it's part of the experience.
Idk why Urbanspook didn't get D tier. It's entirely deserved.
I call angel hare “wholesome horror”
Wisconsin police in Mandela catalogue is like the R.P.D when they hired Leon Kennedy
Hate how accurate this is
Great video. Though im surprised kane pixels wasn't up here
What they said: The Baroque Hour What I heard: The Broke Hour Me: Damn, a cult that hard up for cash?
Urbanspook is far too underrated. Change my mind Also, Greylock is superb
44:04 Evangelion be like: Oh wow, I commented too fast. Damn he already made the joke. Beat me to it.
I really liked your take on analog horror, and the child death was tasteful id say, good job
"Ok but why is he orange here" easy! That is a different person :D help that hopes!
"Angel gabby can get it" "now lets get in the closet" "i am not a furry"
I guess in the context of a RUclipsr being secretly a m*d*rer, I would like to shed light into another similar case to Rizu Drums ch (known locally as Fariz Adhi Nur Putra. Look it up on some Indonesian news on Google). He did unalived his ex-boyfriend back in 2022 and are now serving sentences in prison. Though his channels are pretty small, his most viewed videos would be the Pepsiman theme reupload (which, understandably, not many people realize it). I know the suspect personally since he cyberbullied me back in 2014 or so lol and I had a very strong beef towards him. I'm very glad that he's behind bars now. Guy's deserve it.
I feel developer interaction is completely fine if it's done correctly. Who knows what information a developer could get from us if they are given control of your computer. An opt-in is the most moral thing I could think to be acceptable for anything like that. Give the player the option to have their game changed by developers if they want and not force people to automatically op-in.
I think that anything that could affect your gameplay should be an opt in only. Like the newest Sniper Elite opting into letting players invade your game to hunt you during your playthrough lets people who dont want to suffer have fun.
Mandela Catalogue is a definite S-Tier to me for one simple reason: It’s the only one that actually, truly, scared me. Others had moments where I was startled by MC absolutely scared me, just because of the Alternates behavior. You never see the monster, truly, you just see its attempts to look human, but you never really know what you’re looking at. Even in Volume 3, it’s a monster, but it’s still trying to look human. And in Volume 5 you can see the process and an alternates face change and contort and shift and create eyes or remove them or make a mouth and then take it away all in attempt to look human, but it isn’t. And it can’t unless it’s had time to exist and fester about. The Alternate in Thatcher Davis’ closet scared me so fucking bad man, cuz you can barely see what it is or it at all. And that’s what I feel like sets it apart from other analogue series is that you never know what the hell youre looking at but it still fills you with unmatched dread. Great video though.
[looks at timestamp] [Looks at title] I'm sure you did, Scott, I'm sure you did. Hey, bud, proud of you.
only a few minutes in and I see the MONUMENT MYTHOS SWEEP
This was great because not only did iget to hear about analog horror i knew about, but got to learn about some new ones I'd never even heard of. But the fact we have an analog tierlist without even a mention of Kane Pixels "Backroom" series feels like an oversight. Hopefully you make a part 2 someday and include it along with whatever other analog horror series you find.
You should do doctor nowhere
Alternate source of the SMILE Tapes infection instead of space: it's a failed anti-depressant
44:34 Same dude, and I will continue refusing to watch it the more popular it becomes lmfao
I have a deep fear of people being where they shouldn't be, and creatures that look like humans, but not really. Your analog horror short at the end made me pause the video several times to hype myself to continue, especially that fucking window pictuRE! Cudos to you man, you did good. 👏
watchlinsts
Yeah no sorry not hating but you got the man in the suit wrong the suit itself was concious and manipulated the guy to being its host instead of the pills that was just a lie
Haven't watched it yet but I guarantee you Gemini Home Entertainment is in S tier. Edit: darn it
Sounds like Angel Hare is NOT for me. I have a therapist for confronting that stuff.
